Rodney matriculated from Swellendam Senior Secondary and went on to study at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) where he obtained a National Diploma in Management and later obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Management College of Southern Africa (Mancosa). He furthered his studies through the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and later qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant. Rodney also holds a Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of Cape Town (UCT).

Rodney also holds the Advanced Financial Modeler accreditation from the Financial Modeling Institute (FMI) and has a certificate in Corporate Valuation from Columbia Business School.

Rodney is a business professional with 20+ years of experience working in both SME’s and corporate environments as well as in practice and has gained extensive experience in the areas of bookkeeping and accounting, management reporting and taxation. He is a commercially astute individual with exceptional business acumen, who is known to cultivate influential relationships and partnerships with all stakeholders ensuring optimal business performance. He has also acquired considerable experience in the areas of business process improvement, internal control procedures, business strategy formulation , the broad field of taxation as well as numerous other business consulting matters throughout the years.

Rodney is a keen runner and has completed several middle-distance marathons. He spends his spare time catching up with friends and family, watching sports and spending time in the gym.
